It's been a while

C10H12N2O is totally drained.

For the longest time I've been blowing glass in the freezing cold and losing all the niffy pipes and pendant I produced to that bitter bitch known as thermal shock. All because of a lack of proper annealing for molten glass. You see glass-bending requires such extreme heat; that to cool the piece down you have to cook it in a kiln at 1400° F. Now after months of practice my pyro partner and I are finally getting a kiln and some proper tools. Earlier this evening a bud of mine helped me aquire an awesome kiln (bartering rules^^) and tomorrow the owner of Urban Kings is gonna reward my fellow firebender with a torch of her own along with some much needed supplies. I'm so very grateful to all the folks who have helped us out and supported us on our path to a hippy glass blower's lifestyle. I can never thank you guys enough.

I played with fire and jammed out to some reggae while the raindrops danced on the rooftop. The smell of the rain and cool air was refreshing. I would be perfectly happy and content blowing glass and growing grass for the rest of my days.

Lately a handful of good buds and I have been playing hookah hooky down by the riverside. Smoking shisha (hookah tobacco) is a really nice treat. It's legal, tasty and relaxing after a long day. I wouldn't recommend hard-core smokage, but it's damn fun stuff. Uhh hookah action aside, I'm starting training to become a wildland fire fighter. I still think it's kinda ironic that a pyro like myself would get a job fighting fire.
